ZX - 6 ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGE

ZX 6 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge from Dakota Ultrasonics is used to measure the thickness of various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, composite, plastic, glass, polyethylene. It is possible to take measurements from painted or coated surfaces in Echo- Echo mode, and from unpainted or uncoated surfaces in Pulse-Echo mode with the ZX 6 Ultrasonic Thickness Measuring gauge.

ZX 6 enables fast, reliable, and most accurate measurements of materials of different thicknesses as a result of its time-based gain control. Owing to the probe recognition and automatic probe reset features, the device-probe set is calibrated very quickly and easily. It makes your work very easy in harsh field conditions with its user-friendly interface and durable outer casing.

Factory calibration traceable to NIST & MIL-STD-45662A.

OVERVIEW

Time-Based Gain Control (TDG)
Automatic gain control depends on the selected probe available in both P-E and E-E modes.

Pulse-Echo Measurement Mode
Measurements can be taken from unpainted and uncoated surfaces with the ZX 6.

Echo-Echo Measurement Mode
Measurements can be taken from painted and coated surfaces with the ZX 6.

Case and Protection
Nickel-plated aluminum body, waterproof keypad

Differential Mode
Indicates how much the material thickness differs from the entered base value in the +/- direction.

Alarm Mode
It gives an audible and light warning when the threshold values are entered for the measurement and the measurements exceed these values.
