DC 3000 ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGE

Dragon Electronics Co.'s DC 3000 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is used to measure the thickness of various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, composite, plastic, glass, polyethene. It is possible to make measurements from painted or coated surfaces in Echo-Echo mode, and unpainted or uncoated surfaces in Pulse-Echo mode.

Thanks to its automatic gain control (AGC) feature, DC 3000 allows fast, reliable and accurate measurements of materials of different thicknesses.  Also, the device-probe set can be calibrated very quickly and easily thanks to the probe recognition and automatic probe-zero features.

We can provide an optional model which is named DC-3020 C that can record measurements and allows to examine the data on PC.

OVERVIEW

Advantage of Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is the automatic adjustment of the peak value of the first sound echo to the %80 while measuring the test piece with different thicknesses.

Automatic Probe Identification
The DC 3000 automatically recognizes the Dragon Ultrasonics' probe that is attached.

Air-Calibration
DC 3000 can be automatically calibrated instantly thanks to the air-calibration feature after automatic probe identification and the measurement process can be performed in a few seconds. Also, it is possible to perform manual calibration by users.

Pulse-Echo Measurement Mode
With DC 3000, measurements can be carried out on unpainted and uncoated surfaces.

Echo-Echo Measurement Mode
With DC 3000, measurements can be carried out on painted and coated surfaces.
