DC 4000 ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGE

DC 4000 Live A/B Scanning Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges from Dragon Electronics company can be used in various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, composite, plastic, glass, polyethylene. DC 4000 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge works with Pulse-Echo and Echo-Echo measurement methods. It makes very precise measurements of even corroded materials owing to its live A and B scanning features. The automatic adjustment of features such as gain control and door width in the measurements of materials of different thicknesses makes the use of the device very easy in consequence of its automatic mode. DC 4000 enables fast, reliable, and most accurate measurements of different thicknesses as a result of its automatic gain control feature. Owing to the probe recognition and automatic probe reset features, the device-probe set is calibrated very quickly and easily. It makes your work very easy in harsh field conditions with its user-friendly interface and durable outer casing. In addition, it allows you to record your measurements and examine the data using its own software in a computer environment with its optional data recording model.

OVERVIEW

Automatic Gain Control (AGC) Advantage
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is the automatic adjustment of the first echo (sound echo) received while measuring the test piece with different thicknesses so that the peak height value displayed on the screen reaches the 80% height threshold.

Auto Mode
The device automatically optimizes the sound velocity and screen width according to the thickness of the measured material and the sound transmission rate.

Live A-Scan
The Live A-Scan feature ensures very precise and most accurate measurements.

Automatic Probe Recognition
The DC 4000 automatically recognizes the inserted Dragon Ultrasonics probe.

Air-Calibration Feature
DC 4000 after automatic probe identification; It is automatically calibrated and the measurement process can be started in a few seconds with the Air-Calibration feature. According to the user's request, it is possible to calibrate manually.

Pulse-Echo Measurement Mode
Measurements can be taken from unpainted and uncoated surfaces with the DC 4000.

Echo-Echo Measurement Mode
Measurements can be taken from painted and coated surfaces with the DC 4000.
